The 2025 Swim Distance Challenge

A SWIM FOR PRIDE, NOT PRIZE EVENT!
True to the same philosophy of the traditional holiday Swim Distance Challenge,
will be a more spicy holiday workout themed around these famous characters.
It will still be a competition within yourself to accomplish an extraordinary distance but it will also be sprinkled with pace work and speed and fun sets.
Other than the official finisher’s “Certificate of Distance," the only award is the rewarding experience you will have with your fellow event participants. *Minimum distance of 5,000 yds required . See participants' pack.

Originally known as the Hokie Challenge (named after a collegiate Turkey "mascot"), has been sweetly re-coined as the Pie Challenge because of the Coach-Made-Homemade pumpkin pies swimmers earn during the annual holiday tradition of swimming 5,000 yards per day on the Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday of Thanksgiving week!
