Aquatic Adventures is closing its doors July 2 so SwimWithTracy no longer has a home.

If your aquatics facility allows personal trainers on deck I'd be more than happy to travel to your location for one on one, private lessons.

What is GROUP Swim Performance Training??

  • GROUP Swim Performance Training Sessions are designed for the multi-sport athlete or swimmer who is intrinsically motivated to excel in life as well as in the sport of triathlon. Group swims offer camaraderie and accountability in a small group format and focuses on improving technique, then training and conditioning that new technique.  Athletes will improve stroke efficiency, comfort levels in competition and overall personal confidence and mental toughness!
  • Each training session speaks to each person’s unique way of learning and grasping concepts in order to improve their swimming.  Drills are frequently modified or designed for each person’s strengths and weaknesses.  I pride myself in being able to successfully communicate all aspects and nuances of swimming to a wide range of abilities and personalities.

The Small Print- Group Swim Performance Training FAQ's, Policies & Procedures

  • GROUP TRAINING PHILOSOPHY-Consider Group Swim Performance Training like a team under the guidance of an experienced coach. Each day builds from the previous, each session builds upon the previous which in turn, builds the entire year. This goes for conditioning as well as stroke improvement.​

  • PRICING POLICY- Swim Performance Training is your accountability partner and is designed to help you keep on schedule with swimming TWICE A WEEK FOR THE ENTIRE SESSION. If you miss, you will not be reimbursed. There are exceptions to this;
    • PRORATED FEES; If there are several dates or a block of dates (spring break, family vacation, extended work travel) where you know you will be absent I will work with you on prorating your fees. If you don’t know what those dates are at the time of registration then your absences fall under UNPLANNED ABSENCES and make-up procedures may apply
    • UNPLANNED ABSENCES; You may attempt to make up unplanned absences (illness, occasional misses due to work or family circumstances) on an alternate day with the “other group.” Keep in mind though that the “other group” has priority and you will need to be patient as your speed and ability may not match that of the other group. No additional lanes will be rented so if the group is sold out or full on the day you want, you will have to try another day.
    • WRITTEN PRACTICES; Full-time session registrants can request the workout for the day if you need to swim on your own outside of the group.​

  • ​NO PAYMENT PLANS- Special circumstances only​​
  • PRACTICE TIME- **75-minutes in length. This is different from the private, one-on-one sessions, that are 1 hour in length. (**Seasonal variations)

  • MINIMUMS- All groups subject to 3 person minimum, 2 people min per lane, and a max of 3 people per lane. If there are only 3 swimmers, for example, 2 will share and one gets their own lane. If you want your own lane that will cost extra . Up to 9 max participants in 3 lanes. Full-time registrant make-up swims may add a 4th to a lane. (Groups may be combined or cancelled accordingly)

  • DISCOUNTS- The more you swim, the more you save. Pricing is set up to address this.  There will be a place for you to designate your discount eligibility when you sign up and/or use PayPal. Discounts not available for the Part-Time or Walk-In Swimmer. Discounts not available for the Banked Swims.

  • NECESSARY TRAINING TOYS- Pull buoy, hand paddles, kick board, zoomers (short blade fins) cap, goggles, ankle straps or substitute old bike tube or rehab band, snorkel/nose plug. Swimsuit optional.

  • All of my offerings are demand based so If you have comments, suggestions or requests, please contact me! Your ideas might just make for a great new offering!​
